Ingredients
- 2 C flour
- 3 t baking powder
- 1 t Salt
- 6 T shortening
- 2/3 C milk

Directions
Sift flour, Baking Powder, and Salt together.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add milk to make a soft dough.
Turn out on floured surface and knead gently for 30 seconds. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut into rounds of desired size and place on greased baking pan.
Bake in hot oven (450 degrees) for 12-15 minutes.
Yield depends on the size of cutter you use to make the rounds.
